Mrs Robinson’s Homes is a private limited by guarantee without share capital and was incorporated on the 1st February 2018. The head office for Mrs Robinson’s Homes is in West Hull. Mrs Robinson’s Homes has been established to have charitable purpose with the aim of providing social benefits for Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire community, while being a commercial viable operation.

Mrs Robinson’s Homes provides social housing to people and families with disabilities and those who are disadvantaged and underprivileged. Mrs Robinson’s Homes adapt and modify the housing to meet their needs and provide a turnkey solution for their clients by providing the administration, support and maintenance of the properties to reduce their stress and remove burden. Mrs Robinson’s Homes support their clients, while allowing them to be as independent as possible and in turn helping them to increase their skills and confidence.

Mrs Robinson’s Homes purchase suitable properties in Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire that require modernisation and/or upgraded to meet the client’s needs and the houses are typically located in areas that require re-generation. The houses are turned into homes for the clients and incorporate green energy and sustainability solutions to help the environment. This approach helps to develop and promote a community environment, while supporting the redevelopment of the local area.

Mrs Robinson’s Homes work with local suppliers and companies to support the local economy, upskill the workforce and ensure creation of new jobs (including apprentices) as part of the refurbished, modernisation, maintenance and management of the properties. Mrs Robinson’s Homes has implemented a commercial model that incorporate an ethical combination of charitable donations, grant support, sponsorship from local business and rent from clients to operate the business. All profits are re-invested into Mrs Robinson’s Homes.

Daily business duties include: communication with Landlords, tenants, suppliers, tradesmen and vendors, property viewings, updating and maintaining the company database, oversee and develop existing office procedures, new/existing property instructions, listing, letting and selling properties, collection/process of rents, banking, advertising/marketing, maintenance/remedial works, refurbishments, tenancy renewals, gas safety checks, inventories, inspections, move in/move out procedures.

Keeping up to date with property legislation, rules and regulations.
